Change to our account profile images

PollDaddy Blog

gravatarPreviously we had allowed you to upload your own avatar/logo on the public profile page in your account. These images are used for your profile page on PollDaddy Answers. If you have not seen this before then check out my page to see what they look like. We have decided to use Gravatar for our profile images from now on.

“A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things.” from Gravatar.com

If you do not already have a Gravatar then just go to the profile page in your account and select ‘Change Your Gravatar’. Gravatar images are linked to your email address and you can use the same one on the thousands of site online that support them.

  5. I don’t want to do this now. Maybe never.

  6. The Gravatar solution has some merit, but it adds complexity to the initial sign up, which is already fairly technical. This raises barriers to broad acceptance of your service.
