Allow Multiple Selections for your Polls

Sometimes, when you’re running a poll, you want to allow people to choose more than one selection when they vote. It’s two clicks to set this up and in today’s blog post, we’ll show you how it’s done. We’ll use our previously created cookie poll as we work through this example.

If you haven’t already, you’ll want to create a poll.

Once you’ve got your question and possible answer options typed in, look for the box labelled Allow multiple selections below your list of answer options:

Clicking on the Allow multiple selections checkbox will reveal a dropdown from which you can limit the number of selections you will allow:

Click on the dropdown to choose the number of selections you will allow with each vote. In our case, were going to allow participants to check two options before voting:

Be sure to click on the blue Create Poll or Update Poll button at the bottom of the screen (depending on whether you’re creating a new poll or updating an old one) for your changes to take effect.

That’s all there is to it! Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Pick your top two favorite cookies from the list!

  4. Hi Seth--that's coming soon! Watch the blog for an announcement.
  5. Awesome feature. It would be great to have it available in surveys also. :) When you have a multiple choice question you could have people pick their "Top 3" answers. Thanks!
