Polldaddy iPad App v. 1.6 Features Auto-sync

Recently, we released version 1.6 of the Polldaddy iOS app with a big improvement: auto-sync for survey and quiz results. Now, when you’re in the field collecting data, whether it’s a form at the doctor’s office, customer feedback, or teacher / student evaluations, your survey results can sync to your Polldaddy.com account automatically if you have an internet connection.

Fear not, data collectors! If you’re out of range of an internet connection, the Polldaddy app saves your responses locally, so all your data remains intact. Your data will auto-sync the moment your device finds an internet connection.

Here’s how to turn on the new auto-sync feature.

On your iPad, click on Settings:

On the left-hand side of the screen, click on Polldaddy on your list of apps:

Next, on the right-hand side of the screen, ensure that the toggle for Auto-sync is set to ON:

That’s all there is to it! Now, provided you have an internet connection, your survey and quiz responses will sync automatically with your Polldaddy.com dashboard the moment your participants complete your survey or quiz.

Collect data—anywhere

The Polldaddy iPad app is a great way to collect data of any kind: do you need to conduct evaluations? Do you need your customers or patients to fill in forms? When you think of it, a survey is really a form and you can use a survey in any way you like to collect the data you need from your audience—wherever they may be, even if you don’t have an internet connection.

To get started, you can sign up for a free Polldaddy.com account and create your first survey. Then, you can go to the App Store on your iPad and install the Polldaddy app:

Enter your Polldaddy.com account credentials into the iPad app, and press the cloud icon to choose which surveys and quizzes you’d like to conduct in the field using the app.
